Sága Office Building
The design of the office section for the Sága poultry processing plant focused on creating a friendly, human-centered work environment that consciously contrasts with the industrial character of the production facility. Warm colors, extensive use of wood materials, and natural light establish the balance within the interior spaces.
Beyond the functional foundation, playful brand-related elements were also integrated into the concept. The suspended expanded metal sheets hanging from the ceiling can be interpreted as an interior design translation of Sága’s iconic silk ham, while rooster and chicken motifs appear subtly throughout the spaces. At the client’s request, sausages — another defining product of the company — were also incorporated into the concept in a stylized form: the shapes of the reception desk and the acoustic wall panels were inspired by this element.
The resulting spaces are both playful and functional, human-scaled and bright. Thanks to the large glass surfaces, the interiors provide a transparent, light-filled environment. The intentionally placed humorous and creative details aim to positively influence the everyday experience of the employees over the long term.
